Abstract： This article introduces Professor LI Kunyin's clinical experience in the syndrome differentiation and treatment of premature ovarian insufficiency. Professor LI Kunyin believes that the basic pathogenesis of premature ovarian insufficiency is the kidney essence depletion as well as the stasis obstruction in the thoroughfare vessel and conception vessel，accompanied with the liver depression and spleen deficiency，with deficiency as the root and stasis as the branch of the disease. In terms of treatment， it is advocated to focus on supplementing the kidney and replenishing essence，assisted by invigorating blood and dissolving stasis，and supplemented by soothing the liver and strengthening the spleen. The treatment with both attack and supplementation can treat the root and branch of the disease simultaneously， achieving the effect of removing blood stasis and generating new vitality. In clinical practice， psychological counseling and lifestyle adjustment for patients should also be considered and better results can be achieved.
