Abstract： Objective： To observe the curative effect of Jianpi Chushi Decoction combined with Halometasone Cream in the treatment of chronic eczema. Methods：A total of 80 cases of patients with chronic eczema treated at the First People's Hospital of Huzhou from October 2021 to December 2023 were selected and divided into the observation group and the control group according to the random number table method， with 40 cases in each group. The control group was treated with Halometasone Cream， and the observation group was additionally treated with Jianpi Chushi Decoction based on the treatment of the control group. Clinical effects and adverse reactions were compared between the two groups. Changes in traditional Chinese medicine syndrome scores， Eczema Area and Severity Index （EASI）， Visual Analogue Scale （VAS） scores for pain，and levels of leukotriene B4 （LTB4） and leukotriene C4 （LTC4） in the two groups were compared before and after treatment. Results： The total effective rate was 92.50% （37/40） in the observation group and 75.00% （30/40） in the control group，with a significant difference between the two groups （P＜ 0.05）. After treatment， primary and secondary traditional Chinese medicine syndrome scores in the two groups were decreased when compared with those before treatment （P＜0.05）， with the observation group scoring lower than the control group （P＜0.05）. After treatment， the scores of EASI and VAS in the two groups were significantly reduced when compared with those before treatment （P＜0.05）， with the observation group scoring lower than the control group （P＜0.05）. After treatment，the levels of LTB4 and LTC4 in the two groups were reduced when compared with those before treatment （P＜0.05），with the observation group showing lower levels than the control group （P＜0.05）. The incidence of adverse reactions was 20.00% （8/40） in the observation group and 25.00%（10/40） in the control group， with no significant difference between the two groups （P＞0.05）. Conclusion： Jianpi Chushi Decoction combined with Halometasone Cream for chronic eczema can effectively inhibit inflammatory responses， alleviate the severity of eczema and itching，and improve clinical symptoms，demonstrating a clear therapeutic effect.
