Abstract: Objective: To analyze the predictive value of Toll-like receptors (TLRs) and interleukin-6 (IL-6) levels for the therapeutic effect in the treatment of acute ischemic stroke of qi deficiency and blood stasis type. Methods: A total of 550 cases of patients with acute ischemic stroke were selected as the research subjects, and the levels of serum TLR2, TLR3, and IL-6 were compared among patients with different syndrome types. After counting the curative effects on acute ischemic stroke patients with qi deficiency and blood stasis type, the patients were divided into the effective group and the ineffective group based on the curative effects. Univariate and multivariate Logistic regression analyses were conducted to identify the relevant factors affecting the curative effects on acute ischemic stroke patients with qi deficiency and blood stasis type, and the predictive value of levels of serum TLR2,TLR3,and IL-6 for the therapeutic effect in the treatment of acute ischemic stroke with qi deficiency and blood stasis type was analyzed. Results:There was a significant difference being found in the levels of serum TLR2,TLR3, and IL-6 among patients with acute ischemic stroke of different syndrome types (P<0.05). Logistic analysis showed that atherosclerotic vascular stenosis, Chinese Ischemic Stroke Classification (CISS), early neurological deterioration, and levels of serum TLR2, TLR3, and IL-6 were risk factors affecting the curative effects in the treatment of patients with acute ischemic stroke of qi deficiency and blood stasis type (P<0.05). The area under the curve (AUC) of serum TLR2, TLR3, and IL-6 levels predicting the curative effects in the treatment of acute ischemic stroke patients with qi deficiency and blood stasis type were 0.881,0.832,and 0.771,respectively. However, the AUC of the combined prediction of the three levels for the curative effects in the treatment of acute ischemic stroke of qi deficiency and blood stasis type was 0.948,which was significantly higher than their individual predictions (P<0.05). Conclusion:The levels of serum TLR2,TLR3,and IL-6 in patients with acute ischemic stroke vary greatly among different traditional Chinese medicine syndrome types. Simultaneous detection of the three indicators can effectively predict the therapeutic effect in the treatment of acute ischemic stroke with qi deficiency and blood stasis type.
