Abstract： Objective： To explore the medication rules of Chinese medicinals for bronchial asthma complicated with anxiety and depression based on data mining. Methods： The China National Knowledge Infrastructure (CNKI)， Wanfang， China Science and Technology Journal Database (VIP) and China Biology Medicine disc (CBM disc) were searched from the establishment of the databases to December 18， 2022 to screen literature and extract information according to the inclusion and exclusion criteria. Microsoft Excel was used to establish a database of used Chinese medicinals. The Pheatmap package was used to draw the heat map of efficacy， nature and flavor， and meridian entries of the Chinese medicinals. The Apriori algorithm of SPSS Modeler 18.0 software was used to analyze the association rules of medication rules， and SPSS 22.0 statistical software was used for systematic cluster analysis. Results： This data mining finally included 27 articles， involving 27 prescriptions and 78 Chinese medicinals. Among them， Bupleuri Radix， Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma Praeparata cum Melle， Paeoniae Radix Alba， Pinelli ae Rhizoma and Poria ranked the top five， whose main meridian entries were the lung， liver， spleen and stomach；they were mainly pungent，bitter，sweet，flat and cold in nature. A total of seven clusters were obtained by cluster analysis and the first category included Ephedrae Herba，Pheretima，Peucedani Radix， Salvia Miltiorrhizae Radix et Rhizoma， Bombyx Batryticatus and Bupleuri Radix. Conclusion： In the treatment of bronchial asthma complicated with anxiety and depression， Bupleuri Radix， Poria， Scutellariae Radix， Citrus Reticulatae Pericarpium， Ephedrae Herba， Saposhnikoviae Radix and Carbonis Aurantii Fructus were used as the core Chinese medicinals，and those for regulating qi，resolving phlegm， suppressing cough and calming panting， tonifying qi， releasing the exterior， and activating blood and resolving stasis were mainly used.
