Abstract:This article is to introduce the clinical experience of Professor GU Xuekui in the treatment of allergic purpura. Professor GU holds that the etiology and pathogenesis of allergic purpura involve three aspects, namely wind, stasis, and deficiency; the wind is the leading pathogen causing all diseases, with the concurrent internal and external wind causing the disease; stasis brings diseases and lingering diseases lead to stasis;the deficiency of healthy qi is the root, and it is suggested to find out the cause and identify the syndrome. The clinical practice adopts three flexible methods of dispelling wind, resolving stasis, and supplementing deficiency based on syndrome differentiation. Dispelling wind is the primary method, invigorating blood and dissolving stasis is the key, and supplementing deficiency is the key to maintaining curative effects.
