Abstract： This paper introduces Professor FU Ping's clinical experience in treating polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) complicated with insulin resistance in infertility. Professor FU Ping believes that PCOS and insulin resistance interact with each other. Under the premise that the kidney governs the reproduction，the disease location of PCOS and insulin resistance is usually in the gastrointestinal tract，heart and spleen of patients. Under the guidance of the theory that "double-yang diseases starts from the heart and spleen"， Professor FU Ping differentiates the infertility caused by PCOS complicated with insulin resistance as spleen deficiency and stomach heat type and yin deficiency and blood dryness type. For patients of spleen deficiency and stomach heat type，it is suitable to fortify the spleen and transport the middle qi，and soothe constraint and clear the stomach heat， with application of modified Qinlian Decoction. For patients of yin deficiency and blood dryness type，it is suitable to enrich yin and moisten dryness and restore interaction between the heart and the kidney，with application of modified Loushi Powder.
