Clinical Study on Danlong Xingnao Prescription Combined with Brain-Awakening and Orifices-Opening Needling Method for Acute Cerebral Infarction with Phlegm-Stasis Obstructing the Collaterals Syndrome
Abstract: Objective: To observe the clinical effect of Danlong Xingnao Prescription combined with brain-awakening and orifices-opening needling method for acute cerebral infarction with phlegm-stasis obstructing the collaterals syndrome. Methods:A total of 60 cases of patients with acute cerebral infarction with phlegm-stasis obstructing the collaterals syndrome were selected and randomly divided into the control group and the trial group,with 30 cases in each group,using a random number table method. The control group received routine basic treatment and rehabilitation treatment, while the trial group received Danlong Xingnao Prescription and brain-awakening and orifices-opening needling method in addition to the treatment of the control group. Both groups were treated for 14 days. Evaluated the clinical efficacy of two groups,compared the National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) scores,Barthel Index (BI) scores, Montreal Cognitive Assessment Scale (MoCA) scores and Mini Mental State Examination (MMSE) scores before and after treatment between the two groups, and observe the adverse reactions . Results: The total effective rate was 93.33% in the trial group,which was higher than that of 70.00% in the control group (P<0.05). After treatment, the NIHSS scores in the two groups were decreased when compared with those before treatment,and the NIHSS score in the trial group was lower than that in the control group (P< 0.05). The scores of BI,MMSE,and MoCA in the two groups were higher than those before treatment, and the scores in the trial group were higher than those in the control group (P<0.05). During the treatment period, neither group experienced any serious adverse reactions. Conclusion: Danlong Xingnao Prescription combined with brain-awakening and orifices-opening needling method can improve clinical effects,improve neurological and cognitive function,enhance quality of life,and ensure safety in patients with acute cerebral infarction with phlegm-stasis obstructing the collaterals syndrome.
