Abstract: Objective: To observe the clinical effect of the combination use of autohemotherapy and Budesonide and Formoterol on bronchial asthma (BA). Methods:A total of 100 cases of BA patients were assigned to the treatment group and the control group according to the random number table method, with 50 cases in each group. The control group was treated with Budesonide and Formoterol, and the treatment group was additionally treated with autohemotherapy based on the treatment of the control group. The clinical effects, scores of symptoms and Asthma Control Test (ACT), levels of immune function indexes and lung function indexes, and incidence of adverse reactions were compared between the two groups. Results:After treatment, the total effective rate was 92.00% in the treatment group, higher than that of 82.00% in the control group, the difference being significant (P<0.05). After treatment, the scores of symptoms in both groups were reduced when compared with those before treatment, and the symptom scores in the treatment group was lower than that in the control group, differences being significant (P< 0.05). After treatment, the ACT scores in the two groups were elevated when compared with those before treatment, and the ACT score in the treatment group was higher than that in the control group, differences being significant (P<0.05). After treatment, the levels of immunoglobulin E (IgE),CD3+ and CD4+ in both groups were dwindled when compared with those before treatment, and the above three levels in the treatment group were lower than those in the control group, differences being significant (P<0.05). There was no significant difference being found in the comparison of level of CD8+ within the same group before and after treatment and between the two groups after treatment (P>0.05). After treatment, the levels of forced expiratory capacity (FVC), forced expiratory volume in one second (FEV1) and peak expiratory flow (PEF) in the two groups were up-regulated when compared with those before treatment, and the above three levels in the treatment group were higher than those in the control group, differences being significant (P<0.05). During the treatment, the incidence of adverse reaction was 8.00% in both groups, there being no significance in the difference (P>0.05). Conclusion: The combination use of autohemotherapy and Budesonide and Formoterol has a great curative effect on BA,which can effectively mitigate the clinical symptoms of patients, inhibit the airway inflammatory responses and enhance the immunity and the lung function with great safety.
