Abstract:Objective:To observe the effect of foot bath therapy on coagulation function in patients with nephrotic syndrome with blood stasis syndrome. Methods: A total of 70 cases of patients with nephrotic syndrome were selected and divided into the treatment group and the control group by random number table method, with 35 cases in each group. The control group received anticoagulant therapy, and the treatment group was additionally treated with foot bath therapy based on the treatment of the control group. Clinical effects were compared between the two groups. The changes in coagulation index values [prothrombin time (PT), Prothrombin Time and International Normalized Ratio (INR), activated partial thromboplastin time (APTT),fibrinogen (FIB),thrombin time (TT),D-dimer (DD),and PT normal control value], renal function index values [blood urea nitrogen (BUN), serum creatinine (SCr), blood albumin, and urine protein quantification] were compared before and after treatment between the two groups. Results: The total clinical effective rate was 94.29% in the treatment group and 80.00% in the control group, the difference being significant (P<0.05). After treatment, there was no significant difference in intra-group and inter-group comparison of PT, INR, APTT, DD, and PT normal control value between the two groups (P>0.05). After treatment, the index values of FIB and TT in the two groups were decreased when compared with those before treatment (P<0.05), and the index values of FIB and TT in the treatment group were lower than those in the control group (P<0.05). After treatment, the levels of urinary protein quantification,BUN,and SCr in the two groups were decreased when compared with those before treatment (P<0.05),and the levels of blood albumin were increased (P<0.05);the levels of urinary protein quantification, BUN, and SCr in the treatment group were lower than those in the control group (P<0.05),and the level of blood albumin in the treatment group was higher than that in the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion: Foot bath therapy can improve the hypercoagulable state and renal function index values of patients with nephrotic syndrome with blood stasis syndrome, and assist anticoagulant therapy.
