Methods : A total of 92 cases of children with allergic rhinitis of latent heat in the lung meridian type were divided into the reference group and the combination group according to the random number table method, with 46 cases in each group. The reference group was treated with Budesonide Nasal Spray, and the combination group was treated with Rhinitis Prescription combined with Budesonide Nasal Spray. Both group were treated for eight weeks. Traditional Chinese medicine(TCM) symptom scores, immune function indexes levels, the levels of inflammatory factors levels, clinical effects, and the incidence of adverse reactions were compared between the two groups. Results:After treatment, the scores of sneezing, nasal congestion, running nose, nasal itching, swelling nasal mucosa, dry throat, itching throat, and redness of throat in the two groups were decreased when compared with those before treatment (P<0.05), and the above eight scores in the combination group were lower than those in the reference group (P<0.05). After treatment,CD4+ levels and CD4+/CD8+ values in the two groups were increased when compared with those before treatment (P<0.05), and CD4+ levels and CD4+/CD8+ values in the combination group were higher than those in the reference group (P<0.05); CD8+ levels in the two groups were decreased when compared with those before treatment (P<0.05),and CD8+ levels in the combination group was lower than that in the reference group (P<0.05). After treatment, the levels of C-reactive protein (CRP), tumor necrosis factor (TNF- α), and interleukin-6 (IL-6) in serum in the two groups were decreased when compared with those before treatment (P<0.05),and the levels of CRP,TNF-α,and IL-6 in serum in the combination group were lower than those in the reference group (P<0.05). The total effective rate was 95.65% in the combination group, higher than that of 80.43% in the reference group (P<0.05). There was no significant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups (P>0.05).
