Clinical Study on Suqi Dingchuan Prescription Combined with Chinese Medicine Lung Rehabilitation for Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease in Stable Phase
Abstract: Objective: To observe the clinical effect of Suqi Dingchuan Prescription combined with Chinese medicine lung rehabilitation on chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) in stable phase. Methods: A total of 90 cases of COPD patients in stable phase were selected and divided into the observation group and the control group according to the random number table method, with 45 cases in each group. The control group was treated with conventional therapy, and the observation group was additionally treated with Suqi Dingchuan Prescription and Chinese medicine lung rehabilitation based on the treatment of the control group. Clinical effects were evaluated in the two groups. Forced expiratory volume in the first second (FEV1), forced vital capacity (FVC), FEV1/FVC, hypersensitive C-reactive protein (hs- CRP), tumor necrosis factor- α (TNF- α), interleukin-6 (IL-6), and interleukin-8 (IL-8) levels were detected before and after treatment. Results:After treatment, the total effective rate was 95.56% in the observation group, higher than that of 82.22% in the control group (P<0.05). After treatment, traditional Chinese medicine syndrome scores in the two groups were decreased when compared with those before treatment (P<0.05),and traditional Chinese medicine syndrome score in the observation group was lower than that in the control group (P<0.05). After treatment, the values of FEV1, FVC, and FEV1/FVC in the two groups were increased when compared with those before treatment (P<0.05),and the values of FEV1, FVC,and FEV1/FVC in the observation group were higher than those in the control group (P<0.05). After treatment, the levels of IL-6, IL-8, TNF- α, and hs-CRP in the two groups were declined when compared with those before treatment (P<0.05),and the levels of IL-6,IL-8,TNF- α,and hs-CRP in the observation group were lower than those in the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion: Suqi Dingchuan Prescription combined with Chinese medicine lung rehabilitation for COPD in stable phase can improve clinical effects and lung function of patients, and relieve inflammatory responses.
