Abstract: This paper explores the etiology, pathogenesis, and treatment strategies of stress incontinence in women, guided by the theory of "to treat atrophy, select the Yangming meridian only". The main pathogenesis of stress urinary incontinence in women is the deficiency of original qi in the Yangming meridian, the diminution of spleen and stomach function, and the involvement of the kidney and bladder, ultimately leading to symptoms such as urinary incontinence. The clinical treatment is based on acupuncture and moxibustion combined with medication;acupuncture and moxibustion focus on the Yangming meridian to adjust its deficiency and excess;medication focuses on supplementing the middle energizer to boosting qi,and raising and dealing with atrophy, thus regulating the viscera and body simultaneously and treating both the root and branch of the disease.
