Abstract: Objective: To observe the effect of the therapy Maitongning Decoction combined with Rivaroxaban on perioperative deep venous thrombosis (DVT) of patients with fracture of proximal femora. Methods:A total of 100 patients with fracture of proximal femora were selected as the study subjects and divided into the control group and the observation group, with 50 cases in each group. The control group was additionally treated with Rivaroxaban based on routine treatment, and the observation group was additionally treated with Maitongning Decoction based on the treatment of the control group. The two groups were treated for four weeks. The incidence of adverse reactions and DVT, and the changes in coagulation function [fibrinogen (FIB),activated partial thromboplatin time (APTT),thrombin time (TT) and prothrombin time (PT)],and levels of inflammatory factors [serum interleukin-6 (IL-6) and tumor necrosis factor-α (TNF-α)] before and after treatment were compared between the two groups. Results:After fourweek treatment, the values of APTT,TT and PT in the two groups were increased when compared with those before treatment (P<0.05), and the FIB values were decreased when compared with those before treatment (P<0.05). The values of APTT,TT and PT in the observation group were higher than those in the control group (P<0.05),and the FIB value was lower than that in the control group (P<0.05). After fourweek treatment, the levels of serum TNF- α and IL-6 in the two groups were reduced when compared with those before treatment (P<0.05),and the above two levels in the observation group were lower than those in the control group (P<0.05). During treatment, the incidence of liver dysfunction and DVT in the observation group was respectively lower than that in the control group, the difference being significant (P<0.05). Conclusion:The therapy of Maitongning Decoction combined with Rivaroxaban can prevent the perioperative DVT of patients with fracture of proximal femora, improve the coagulation function and decrease the levels of inflammatory factors with great safety.
