Abstract:Objective:To observe the clinical effect of Feilike Mixture combined with aerosol inhalation on cough-variant asthma (CVA). Methods:A total of 96 CVA patients were divided into the treatment group and the control group according to the random number table method, with 48 cases in each group. The control group was treated with aerosol inhalation, and the treatment group was treated with Feilike Mixture and aerosol inhalation. The clinical effects, and traditional Chinese medicine syndrome scores, lung function indexes and levels of inflammatory factors before and after treatment were compared between the two groups. Results:After treatment, the total effective rate was 95.83% in the treatment group, higher than that of 81.25% in the control group (P<0.05). After treatment, the traditional Chinese medicine syndrome scores of cough degree, cough time, dryness of mouth and throat, nose itching and sneezing, sore throat and itchy pharynx in both groups were reduced (P<0.05), and the above five scores in the treatment group were lower than those in the control group (P<0.05). After treatment, the forced vital capacity (FVC),forced expiratory volume in one second (FEV1) and peak expiratory flow (PEF) in both groups were up-regulated (P<0.05),and the FVC,FEV1 and PEF in the treatment group were higher than those in the control group (P<0.05). After treatment, the levels of serum interleukin-6 (IL-6),C-reactive protein (CRP) and procalcitonin (PCT) in the two groups were declined (P<0.05),and the three levels above in the treatment group were lower than those in the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion: Feilike Mixture combined with aerosol inhalation can mitigate the clinical symptoms of CVA patients, improve the lung function and reduce the inflammatory responses of the body for the sake of better clinical effect.
