Abstract: Objective: To explore the application effect of nursing ward rounds based on flipped class model in improving the post competency of Chinese medicine standardized training nurses. Methods: A total of 165 standardized training nurses in the rotation of surgical department were divided into the control group and the reform group according to different round models, with 87 and 78 cases in each group respectively. The control group used routine nursing ward rounds, and the reform group used Chinese medicine nursing ward rounds based on flipped class. After the implementation of the plan,the scores of modified nursing-specific Mini-Clinical Evaluation Exercise, as well as the satisfaction scores of the standardized training nurses and guidance teachers were compared between the two groups. Results:The effective collection rates of the modified nursing-specific Mini-Clinical Evaluation Exercise,as well as the satisfaction rating forms for trainees and teachers, were 100%. The bedside nursing consultation and specialized physical examination, health consultation and education, nursing diagnosis (problems), nursing plan and implementation, Chinese and western medicine nursing thinking and methods, humanistic care,organizational efficiency,overall competency and other scores in the reform group were higher than those in the control group, differences being significant (P<0.05). There was no significant difference in the comparison of background knowledge and case report scores between the two groups (P> 0.05). The satisfaction scores of the standardized training nurses and teaching instructors in the reform group were higher than those in the control group,the difference being significant (P<0.05). Conclusion: The nursing ward rounds based on the flipped class model can help improve the post competency and comprehensive abilities of Chinese medicine standardized training nurses,and their satisfaction is higher.
