Abstract： Objective： To observe the clinical effect of Yinhuang Lotion combined with Diosamine Tablets on chronic ulcer of lower limb. Methods：A total of 80 patients with chronic ulcer of lower limb were divided into the control group and the observation group according to the random number table method， with 40 cases in each group. The control group was treated with routine Diosamine Tablets， and the observation group was treated with Yinhuang Lotion based on the treatment of the control group. The traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) syndrome scores，ulcer area，ulcer depth，granulation coverage rates， Numeric Rating Scale (NRS) scores，and levels of inflammatory factors before and after treatment and the clinical effects were compared between the two groups. Results： The total effective rate was 95.00% in the observation group，higher than that of 75.00% in the control group (P＜0.05). After treatment，the ulcer area， ulcer depth， NRS scores， TCM syndrome scores， and levels of C-reactive protein (CRP)， interleukin-6 (IL-6)， and tumor necrosis factor- α (TNF- α) were decreased when compared with those before treatment (P＜0.05)，and the granulation coverage rates were increased (P＜0.05). After treatment， the ulcer area，ulcer depth，NRS score，TCM syndrome score，and levels of various inflammatory factors in the observation group were lower than those in the control group (P＜0.05)，and the granulation coverage rate was higher than that in the control group (P＜0.05). Conclusion： Yinhuang Lotion combined with western medicine has a definite therapeutic effect in treating chronic ulcer of lower limb，which can reduce the inflammatory responses of patients，promote the growth of granulation tissue，and accelerate wound healing.
