Objective: To observe the clinical effect of Yijing Decoction combined with thunder-fire moxibustion on diminished ovarian reserve (DOR) and its effects on ovarian function and menstruation. Methods:A total of 60 cases of DOR patients admitted from June 2020 to June 2022 were divided into the observation group and the control group according to the random number table method, with 30 cases in each group. The control group was additionally treated with Femoston and thunder-fire moxibustion, and the observation group was additionally treated with Yijing Decoction. Traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) syndrome scores, menstrual volume scores, sex hormone indicators [luteinizing hormone (LH), folliclestimulating hormone (FSH), estradiol (E2)], and ovarian function indicators [ovarian diameter, ovarian volume, antral follicle count (AFC),and anti-Mullerian hormone (AMH)] were compared between the two groups before and after treatment. Clinical effects and safety were evaluated in the two groups. Results: The total effective rate in the observation group was higher than that in the control group (P<0.05). After treatment,TCM syndrome scores and the levels of FSH and LH in the two groups were decreased when compared with those before treatment (P<0.05), and the menstrual volume scores and the levels of E2, ovarian diameter, ovarian volume, AFC, and AMH were increased when compared with those before treatment (P<0.05). After treatment, the menstrual volume score and the levels of E2,ovarian diameter, ovarian volume,AFC,and AMH in the observation group were higher than those in the control group (P< 0.05),and TCM syndrome scores and the levels of FSH and LH in the observation group were lower than those in the control group (P<0.05). During treatment, there was no adverse reactions occurred in the two groups. Conclusion: Yijing Decoction combined with thunder-fire moxibustion has significant curative effects in the treatment of DOR,which can improve ovarian function and regulate menstruation with high safety.
