Abstract： Objective： To observe the clinical effect of Wenjing Tongluo Powder on hand-foot syndrome in cancer patients with chemotherapy. Methods： A total of 100 cases of cancer patients with hand-foot syndrome in chemotherapy were selected and divided into the observation group and the control group according to the random number table method，with 50 cases in each group. The control group was treated with vitamin B6 orally，and the observation group was additionally treated with soaking with Wenjing Tongluo Powder based on the treatment of the control group. The treatment lasted for 14 days. Clinical effects were evaluated in the two groups. Visual Analogue Scale (VAS) scores，traditional Chinese medicine syndrome scores， hand-foot syndrome grading， and Quality of Life (QOL) scores were compared between the two groups. Results： The total effective rate was 94.00% in the observation group， higher than that of 78.00% in the control group，the difference being significant (P＜0.05). After treatment，VAS scores in the two groups were decreased when compared with those before treatment (P＜0.05)，and VAS score in the observation group was lower than that in the control group (P＜0.05). After treatment， the scores of erythema， numbness in hands and feet， swelling， dryness and peeling， burning sensation， and itching in the two groups were decreased when compared with those before treatment (P＜0.05)，and the scores of erythema，numbness in hands and feet，swelling，dryness and peeling，burning sensation， and itching in the observation group were significantly lower than those in the control group (P＜0.05). After treatment，hand-foot syndrome grading in the two groups was improved when compared with that before treatment (P＜0.05)， and the Grade Ⅲ proportion of hand-foot syndrome in the observation group was lower than that in the control group (P＜0.05). After treatment， QOL scores in the two groups were increased when compared with those before treatment (P＜0.05)，and QOL score in the observation group was higher than that in the control group (P＜0.05). Conclusion：Wenjing Tongluo Powder in the treatment of hand-foot syndrome in cancer patients with chemotherapy can improve their clinical symptoms，reduce pain degree，achieve good clinical effects，and improve their quality of life to some extent.
