Abstract：Objective：To observe the effects of Gegen Heisu Decoction combined with neuromuscular electrical stimulation and estradiol valerate on endometrial morphology， serum leukemia inhibitory factor (LIF) levels， and pregnancy success rates in patients with thin endometrial infertility. Methods： A total of 150 patients with thin endometrial infertility were selected and divided into the routine group，the electrical stimulation group ， and the combination group according to the random number table method ， with 50 cases in each group. The routine group received oral treatment with Estradiol Valerate， the electrical stimulation group received treatment with Estradiol Valerate combined with neuromuscular electrical stimulation， and the combination group received treatment with Gegen Heisu Decoction， neuromuscular electrical stimulation and estradiol valerate. The changes in traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) syndrome scores， endometrial morphology， and serum indicators [serum leukemia inhibitory factor (LIF)， and interleukin-10 (IL-10)] were compared before and after treatment among the three groups. The pregnancy rates were compared among the three groups. Results： After treatment， the TCM syndrome scores of cold limbs，low libido，and dizziness and tinnitus in the three groups were decreased when compared with those before treatment，and the above three TCM syndrome scores in the combination group were lower than those in the routine group and the electrical stimulation group (P＜0.05). After treatment， the morphology of type A endometrium accounted for 24.00%， 48.00%， and 54.00% in the routine group， the electrical stimulation group，and the combination group respectively. The thickness of the endometrium in the combination group was higher than that in the routine group and the electrical stimulation group，and there were significant differences being found in the comparison of morphology and thickness of the endometrium between the combination group and the routine group and the electrical stimulation group (P＜ 0.05). After treatment， the levels of LIF and IL-10 in serum in all the three groups were increased when compared with those before treatment (P＜0.05)， and the levels of LIF and IL-10 in serum in the combination group were higher than those in the routine group and the electrical stimulation group (P＜ 0.05). The pregnancy success rate was 16.00% in the routine group， 28.00% in the electrical stimulation group， and 38.00% in the combination group； the pregnancy success rate in the combination group was higher than those in the routine group and the electrical stimulation group (P＜0.05). Conclusion： Gegen Heisu Decoction combined with neuromuscular electrical stimulation and estradiol valerate can effectively improve the endometrial morphology and serum LIF levels in patients with thin endometrial infertility，and increase the pregnancy success rate.
