Abstract： Objective： To observe the clinical effect of Danqi Soft Capsules on angina pectoris of coronary heart disease and its effect on myocardial protection. Methods：A total of 90 cases of patients with angina pectoris of coronary heart disease were selected as the study objects and divided into the treatment group and the control group according to the random number table method，with 45 cases in each group. Both groups were given basic treatment including anti-myocardial ischemia， lipid regulation， coronary artery dilation and anti-platelet aggregation； the control group was additionally treated with Trimetazidine Dihydrochloride Tablets，and the treatment group was additionally treated with Danqi Soft Capsules based on the treatment of the control group. After 4 weeks of treatment， the changes in clinical effects， traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) syndrome scores， frequency of angina attacks， myocardial enzyme indexes [creatine kinase-MB (CK-MB)，lactate dehydrogenase (LDH)，aspartate transaminase (AST)] and levels of serum inflammatory factors [tumor necrosis factor- α (TNF-α)，hypersensitive C-reactive protein (hs-CRP)] were compared between the two groups. Results：After treatment，the total effective rate was 93.33% in the treatment group and 71.11% in the control group，the difference being significant (P＜0.05). After treatment，the scores of TCM syndromes like chest colic，chest tightness，dizziness，headache and palpitation in the two groups were decreased when compared with those before treatment (P＜0.05)，and the scores in the treatment group were lower than those in the control group (P＜0.05). After treatment， the frequency and duration of angina pectoris attack in the two groups were reduced and shortened when compared with those before treatment (P＜0.05)，and the frequency and duration of angina pectoris attack in the treatment group were lower and shorter than those in the control group (P＜0.05). After treatment， the levels of CK-MB，LDH and AST in the two groups were decreased when compared with those before treatment (P＜0.05)， and the above three indexes in the treatment group were lower than those in the control group (P＜0.05). After treatment， the levels of TNF- α and hs-CRP in the two groups were decreased when compared with those before treatment (P＜0.05)， and the above two indexes in the treatment group were lower than those in the control group (P＜0.05). Conclusion： Danqi Soft Capsules combined with western medicine has a significant curative effect in the treatment of angina pectoris of coronary heart disease， which is beneficial in reducing clinical symptoms， effectively inhibiting inflammatory responses， reducing the frequency of angina pectoris attacks， shortening the duration of attacks，and improving myocardial enzyme indexes.
