Abstract：To explore the clinical application for tinnitus of binding constraint of liver qi type based on the method of regulating the liver and dredging emotion， combined with electroacupuncture in the vertigoauditory area and psychosomatic intervention therapy. Tinnitus of binding constraint of liver qi type is caused by emotional distress， binding constraint of liver qi， qi movement obstruction， and imbalance of yin and yang and ascending and descending，which result in tinnitus. Treatment should focus on regulating the liver and dredging emotions. Electroacupuncture in the vertigo-auditory area can soothe the liver and clear orifices，regulate qi and blood，and psychosomatic intervention therapy can regulate emotions and balance yin and yang. The combination of the two can effectively alleviate the tinnitus. In clinical application，due to its safety and convenience，it can also be flexibly adjusted according to different accompanying symptoms of patients，with good results.
