Abstract：Objective：To observe the curative effect of the therapy of Tiaoshen Jieyu Needling Method combined with Tandospirone Citrate Capsules on generalized anxiety disorder. Methods ： A total of 118 patients with generalized anxiety disorder were divided into the control group and the observation group according to the random number table method，with 59 cases in each group. The control group was treated with Tandospirone Citrate Capsules，and the observation group was given Tiaoshen Jieyu Needling Method combined with Tandospirone Citrate Capsules for treatment. The clinical effects and incidence of adverse reactions， and anxiety degree， and the levels of noradrenaline (NE)， 5-hydroxytryptamine (5-HT) and dopamine (DA) were compared before and after treatment between the two groups. Results： The total effective rate was 94.92% in the observation group，higher than that of 83.05% in the control group (P＜ 0.05). After treatment，the scores of Self-Rating Anxiety Scale (SAS) and Hamilton Anxiety Scale (HAMA) in the two groups were decreased (P＜0.05)，and the above two scores in the observation group were lower than those in the control group (P＜0.05). After treatment， the levels of serum NE， 5-HT and DA in the two groups were increased (P＜0.05)， and above three levels in the observation group were higher than those in the control group (P＜0.05). There was no significant difference being found in the comparison of incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups (P＞0.05). Conclusion： The therapy of Tiaoshen Jieyu Needling Method combined with Tandospirone Citrate Capsules can enhance the curative effect on generalized anxiety disorder， which can promote the improvement of anxiety symptoms and increase the levels of NE，5-HT and DA with great safety.
