Abstract： Objective： To observe the clinical effect of electroacupuncture combined with upper limb rehabilitation training on post-stroke stage I shoulder-hand syndrome after cerebral apoplexy. Methods： Eighty patients with post-stroke stage I shoulder-hand syndrome were randomly divided into a control group and an observation group， with 40 participants in each group. The control group received conventional upper limb rehabilitation training， while the observation group received additional electroacupuncture treatment alongside the same training as the control group. Both groups underwent a 30-day treatment period. The clinical therapeutic effects were compared， and the pre- and posttreatment scores of simplified Fugl-Meyer Assessment for Upper Extremity (FMA)， Shoulder Hand Syndrome Scale (SHSS)， Numerical Rating Scale (NRS) for pain， and symptom scores (range of motion limitation，swelling degree) were compared. Results：After treatment，the total effective rate was 92.50% in the observation group，higher than that of 75.00% in the control group (P＜0.05). After treatment，the scores of NRS，SHSS and symptoms (limitation of movement and swelling degree) in the two groups were decreased when compared with those before treatment，and FMA scores were increased (P＜0.05)；the scores of NRS， SHSS and symptoms (limitation of movement， and swelling degree) in the observation group were lower than those in the control group (P＜0.05)，and the FMA score was higher than that in the control group (P＜0.05). Conclusion： Electroacupuncture combined with upper limb rehabilitation training can improve the function of the affected limb，alleviate pain，and relieve clinical symptoms in patients with post-stroke stage I shoulder-hand syndrome，the therapeutic effect is significant.
