Abstract：Heart failure is the final stage of the development of a variety of cardiovascular diseases. It is characterized by impaired ventricular filling or ejection function，and the failure of cardiac bleeding volume to meet the metabolic needs of body tissues， which is dangerous and is the main cause of death. ZHENG Qin'an studies the classics，understands the harmonization of yin and yang in the human body，and deeply gains the meaning of ZHANG Zhongjing's treatment methods and prescriptions. ZHENG's main ideas are based on "yin and yang being the principle， yang dominating and yin subordinating"， and he is good at combining yin and yang syndrome differentiation with six channels syndrome differentiation. In this paper， the authors discuss the treatment of heart failure from ZHENG Qin'an's academic insights. It is believed that the basic pathogenesis of heart failure is the decline of heart yang and the failure of yang to control yin. The important factors that worsen the condition are complicated syndromes of six channels. "Powerful supplementation of original qi and yang to strengthen heart fire" is the basic principle of treatment so as to supplement the true yang in the kidney. Bukan Yili Pellets is the basic prescription to treat the disease，and is flexibly modified according to the six channels syndrome differentiation. This paper aims to provide a new approach and method for clinical differentiation and treatment of heart failure.
