Abstract：Objective：To observe the clinical effect of modified Banxia Houpo Decoction and Xiaochaihu Decoction combined with Rabeprazole Sodium Enteric-Coated Tablets on reflux laryngitis. Methods：A total of 80 cases of patients with reflux laryngitis were selected as the research objects and divided into the control group and the observation group according to the random number table method，with 40 cases in each group. The control group was treated with Rabeprazole Sodium Enteric-Coated Tablets， and the observation group was treated with modified Banxia Houpo Decoction and Xiaochaihu Decoction combined with Rabeprazole Sodium Enteric-Coated Tablets. The levels of inflammatory factors，signs and symptoms of reflux and traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) syndrome scores before and after treatment as well as the clinical effects were compared between the two groups. Results： The total effective rate was 92.50% in the observation group， higher than that of 70.00% in the control group (P＜0.05). After treatment， the levels of tumor necrosis factor- α (TNG- α)， interleukin-6 (IL-6) and C-reactive protein (CRP) in the two groups were decreased (P＜0.05)，and the above levels in the observation group were lower than those in the control group (P＜0.05). After treatment， Reflux Findings Scores (RFS) and Reflux Symptom Indexes (RSI) scores in the two groups were decreased (P＜0.05)， and the above scores in the observation group were lower than those in the control group (P＜0.05). After treatment，the scores of TCM syndromes were all decreased in the two groups (P＜0.05)，and the scores in the observation group were lower than those in the control group (P＜0.05). Conclusion： Modified Banxia Houpo Decoction and Xiaochaihu Decoction combined with Rabeprazole Sodium Enteric-Coated Tablets has a significant curative effect on reflux laryngitis， which can effectively improve the signs and symptoms of reflux and TCM symptoms， and reduce inflammatory responses.
