Abstract： Objective： To observe the clinical effect of the therapy of Yupingfeng Granules combined with sublingual desensitization with Dermatophagoides Farinae Drops for children allergic rhinitis with syndrome of lung-spleen qi deficiency. Methods：A total of 90 children with allergic rhinitis with syndrome of lung-spleen qi deficiency were selected as the study objects and divided into the observation group and the control group according to random number table method， with 45 cases in each group. The control group was given sublingual desensitization with Dermatophagoides Farinae Drops， and the observation group was additionally given Yupingfeng Granules based on the treatment of the control group. The treatment lasted for six courses， one week being a course. The clinical effects， nasal symptom scores， humoral immune function indexes and inflammatory factors were compared between the two groups. Results：The total effective rate was 97.78% in the observation group，higher than that of 86.67% in the control group (P＜0.05). After treatment， the scores of nasal congestion， nasal itchiness， sneezing and runny nose in the two groups were decreased when compared with those before treatment (P＜0.05)，and the above scores in the observation group were lower than those in the control group (P＜0.05). After treatment， the levels of serum immunoglobulin M (IgM) and immunoglobulin G (IgG) in the two groups were increased when compared with those before treatment，and the immunoglobulin E (IgE) levels were lower than those before treatment (P＜0.05)；the IgM and IgG levels in the observation group were higher than those in the control group，and the IgE level was lower than that in the control group (P＜0.05). After treatment， the serum levels of interleukin- 4 (IL- 4)， interleukin- 13 (IL- 13) and vascular cell adhesion factor- 1 (VCAM- 1) in the two groups were decreased when compared with those before treatment (P＜ 0.05)，and the serum levels of IL-4，IL-13 and VCAM-1 in the observation group were lower than those in the control group (P＜0.05). Conclusion： The therapy of Yupingfeng Granules combined with sublingual desensitization with Dermatophagoides Farinae Drops has a significant therapeutic effect on the treatment of children allergic rhinitis with syndrome of lung- spleen qi deficiency， which is beneficial to the improvement of the clinical symptoms and immune ability of the body as well as the decrease of the inflammatory reactions.
