Abstract：Objective：To observe the clinical effect of Yiqi Shujin Decoction combined with acupuncture on pain in neck，shoulder，low-back and leg. Methods：A total of 120 cases of patients with pain in neck， shoulder， low- back and leg were selected and divided into the observation group and the control group according to the random number table method，with 60 cases in each group. The control group received routine rehabilitation treatment， and the observation group received Yiqi Shujin Decoction combined with acupuncture based on the treatment of the control group. Both groups were treated for one month. The clinical effects were evaluated in the two groups. The pain duration， pain scores， and frequency of pain attacks were compared between the two groups. The cervical function， shoulder joint function， lumbar function， and knee joint function were compared between the two groups. The levels of 5- hydroxytryptamine (5-HT)，nerve growth factor (NGF)，and prostaglandin E2 (PGE2) were detected before and after treatment in two groups. The adverse reactions during the treatment period were recorded. Results：The total effective rate was 96.67% in the observation group，higher than that of 86.67% in the control group (P＜0.05). After treatment，the pain scores，pain duration，and frequency of pain attacks in the two groups were decreased when compared with those before treatment (P＜0.05)； the pain score， pain duration，and frequency of pain attacks in the observation group were lower than those in the control group (P＜0.05). After treatment， the scores of lumbar function， shoulder joint function， knee joint function， and cervical function in the two groups were increased when compared with those before treatment (P＜0.05)，and the scores in the observation group were higher than those in the control group (P＜0.05). After treatment，the levels of 5-HT，NGF，and PGE2 in the two groups were decreased when compared with those before treatment (P＜0.05)， and the levels of 5- HT， NGF， and PGE2 in the observation group were lower than those in the control group (P＜0.05). Conclusion：Yiqi Shujin Decoction combined with acupuncture can effectively inhibit the release of pain factors in patients with pain in neck， shoulder，low- back and leg，alleviate pain，improve clinical effects，and improve the function of neck， shoulder，waist and leg in patients.
