Abstract: Objective: To observe the clinical effect of medicine- separated moxibustion at du mai combined with static balance training for hemiplegia after stroke. Methods:A total of 92 cases of patients with hemiplegia after stroke were selected and divided into the control group and the observation group according to the random number table method, with 46 cases in each group. Both groups were treated with Methylcobalamin Tablets;the control group was additionally treated with static balance training, and the observation group was additionally treated with medicine- separated moxibustion at du mai combined with static balance training. Both groups were treated for 4 weeks. The balance function, walking ability, and affected muscle tension were compared between the two groups before and after treatment. Results: After treatment, the scores of the Berg Balance Scale (BBS) and Postural Assessment Scale for Stroke (PASS) in the two groups were increased when compared with those before treatment, and the BBS and PASS scores in the observation group were higher than those in the control group, differences being significant (P<0.05). The muscle tensions on the affected side in the two groups were decreased when compared with those before treatment, and the muscle tension on the affected side in the observation group was lower than that in the control group, differences being significant (P<0.05). The stride frequency, maximum walking speed of 10 meters, and stride length in the two groups were all improved when compared with those before treatment, and the improvement of stride frequency, maximum walking speed of 10 meters, and stride length in the observation group was better than that in the control group, differences being significant (P<0.05). Conclusion: The treatment of medicine- separated moxibustion at du mai combined with static balance training for hemiplegia after stroke can effectively improve the patient's balance function and walking ability, and reduce the muscle tension on the affected side.
