Abstract: Objective: To observe the clinical effect of the therapy of blade needling acupuncture at tendon lesion combined with western medicine on iliopsoas strain. Methods:A total of 60 cases of patients with iliopsoas strain were selected and divided into the observation group and the control group according to the random number table method, with 30 cases in each group. The control group was given Celecoxib Capsules and Eperisone Hydrochloride Tablets for treatment, and the observation group was additionally treated with blade needling acupuncture at tendon lesion based on the treatment of the control group. The clinical effects, scores of Japan Orthopaedic Association (JOA) and Visual Analogue Scale (VAS) and incidence of adverse reactions were compared between the two groups. Results: After treatment, the total effective rate was 100% in the observation group and 86.67% in the control group, and the clinical effect in the observation group was better than that in the control group, the difference being significant (P<0.05). The scores of JOA in the two groups were increased when compared with those before treatment, the scores of VAS in the two groups were decreased when compared with those before treatment, differences being significant (P<0.05);the JOA score in the observation group was higher than that in the control group, and the VAS score in the observation group was lower than that in the control group, differences being significant (P<0.05). During treatment, the incidence of adverse reactions was 10.00% in the observation group and 6.67% in the control group, there being no significance in the difference (P>0.05). Conclusion: The therapy of blade needling acupuncture at tendon lesion combined with western medicine can improve the lumbar vertebral function of patients with iliopsoas strain, reduce the pain and has a better clinical effect than single oral administration of western medicine, with good safety.
