Abstract： This paper introduces Professor WANG Shiqiang's clinical experience in using Xiaoqinglong Decoction plus Aconiti Lateralis Radix Praeparata or Gypsum Fibrosum. Professor WANG Shiqiang believes that the root of syndromes of Xiaoqinglong Decoction lies in "fluid retention"， that is， the abnormal metabolism of water. To treat syndromes of Xiaoqinglong Decoction is to "treat water"， that is， "use Xiaoqinglong to treat water"，so that "fluid retention" is discharged from the body. The treatment methods include the following. First，the application of Xiaoqinglong Decoction plus Aconiti Lateralis Radix Praeparata can make cooling water warm and hot and then come out as sweat. Second， the application of Xiaoqinglong Decoction plus Gypsum Fibrosum can make hot water meet the cold to condense into tangible water， and then purge as urine. Third， when qi insufficiency of triple energizers occurs， failing to transform into qi，and when fluid retention in the body appears to heat up，it is necessary to use Aconiti Lateralis Radix Praeparata in Xiaoqinglong Decoction to warm kidney yang，so as to to warm and unblock the triple energizers；and then Xiaoqinglong Decoction plus Aconiti Lateralis Radix Praeparata and Gypsum Fibrosum should be all used， making the hot water meet the cold to condense into tangible water， and then purge as urine.
