Abstract: Objective: To analysis the medication rules and clinical experience of Professor ZHU Caifeng's treatment of kidney- wind edema (IgA nephropathy) with traditional Chinese medicine (TCM). Methods:The cases of patients with IgA nephropathy who were first diagnosed that treated by Professor ZHU Caifeng after renal biopsy were collected and the standardized case information was input into the database. A total of 336 prescriptions that met the standard were selected,and the efficacy of traditional Chinese medicine, four properties and five flavors and meridian tropism were counted. Patients were divided into two groups, A and B, according to whether they took glucocorticoids. SPSS Modeler 18.0, SPSS Statistics 25,TCM inheritance Platform 3.0 and other softwares were used for data mining of TCM drug frequency statistics, TCM syndrome types, association rules, and complex system entropy clustering methods. Results:Among 336 prescriptions,more than 30 kinds of high-frequency drugs were counted in group A and group B, and 5 core prescriptions were extracted respectively. Professor ZHU Caifeng treated kidney-wind edema (IgA nephropathy) with minimal medication,supplementing deficiency treatment as the cornerstone,pay attention to disffuse the upper jiao and clear the lower jiao. Divide and conquer patients who take glucocorticoids or not, patients who do not use hormones should use more Chinese medicine for removing wind and dampness,patients who have been ill for a long time should use more products to promote blood circulation and remove blood stasis, pay attention to the protection of stomach qi, and consolidating essence and blocking the drainage at the same time. Conclusion: The prescription data mining for patients with IgA nephropathy can summarize the medication rules and clinical experience of Professor ZHU Caifeng in the treatment of IgA nephropathy,which is conducive to our better inheritance of Professor ZHU Caifeng's academic experience.
