Abstract： Objective： To observe the clinical effect of Fuzheng Chufu Decoction combined with Clindamycin Phosphate Tablets for sequelae of pelvic inflammatory disease (SPID). Methods： A total of 88 SPID patients were selected and divided into the control group and the observation group according to the random number table method， with 44 patients in each group. The control group was treated with Clindamycin Phosphate Tablets， and the observation group was treated with Fuzheng Chufu Decoction based on the treatment of the control group. The changes in traditional Chinese medicine syndrome scores， maximum diameter of inflammatory mass， depth of pelvic fluid accumulation， levels of inflammatory factors， and hemorheological indicators were compared between the two groups before and after treatment. Results： After treatment， the scores of lower abdominal pain， excessive vaginal discharge， irregular menstruation，limb fatigue in the two groups were decreased when compared with those before treatment (P＜0.05)， and the above scores in the observation group were lower than those in the control group (P＜0.05). After treatment，the maximum diameter of inflammatory masses and the depth of pelvic fluid accumulation in the two groups were decreased when compared with those before treatment (P＜ 0.05)，and the maximum diameter of inflammatory masses and the depth of pelvic fluid accumulation in the observation group were lower than those in the control group (P＜0.05). After treatment， the levels of tumor necrosis factor-α (TNF-α) and interleukin-6 (IL-6) in serum in the two groups were decreased when compared with those before treatment (P＜0.05)， and the levels of TNF - α and IL-6 in the observation group were lower than those in the control group (P＜0.05). After treatment，the plasma viscosity，whole blood viscosity， fibrinogen content， and erythrocyte sedimentation rates in the two groups were decreased when compared with those before treatment (P＜0.05)， and the above indexes in the observation group were lower than those in the control group (P＜0.05). Conclusion： Fuzheng Chufu Decoction combined with Clindamycin Phosphate Tablets for SPID patients can effectively improve clinical symptoms， relieve inflammatory responses， and regulate blood circulation viscosity， whose curative effect is better than that of simple antibiotics.
