Abstract：To propel traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) into a significant developmental leap， it is imperative to cultivate expertise in TCM through three strategic approaches. To nurture translational talents：individuals endowed with the proficiency to elucidate the essence of TCM theory using modern linguistic constructs，making it accessible and appealing to a wider audience. To cultivate grafting talents： those acquainted with the forefront of contemporary medical innovations and capable of harmonizing such advances with TCM principles， thus enriching the practice with a synthesis of collective wisdom. To cultivate civil talents：architects of an objective and standardized platform for TCM discourse，which will enhance the fluidity and caliber of intra-disciplinary communication. The nurturing of diverse talents within the TCM framework is vital for maintaining an open and evolving system. This strategic approach ensures the seamless integration of internal and external knowledge and technologies，reinforcing the fundamental unity of the system. Such a method promotes effective interaction and collaboration among the various components of TCM. In doing so，it positions TCM on a trajectory of exponential growth and innovation in the intelligent era，laying the foundation for the leapfrog development of TCM in the new journey of the intelligent era.
