Abstract:Objective:To observe the clinical effect of Xingnao Kaiqiao Acupuncture Method combined with Estazolam for insomnia after cerebral infarction. Methods:A total of 82 cases of patients with insomnia after cerebral infarction were selected and randomly divided into the observation group and the control group, with 41 cases in each group. The control group was treated with Estazolam Tablets, and the observation group was treated with Xingnao Kaiqiao Acupuncture Method based on the treatment of the control group. Both groups were treated for 4 weeks and followed up for 2 months. The clinical effects, Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index (PSQI) scores, National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) scores , levels of 5- hydroxytryptamine (5- HT) , brain- derived neurotrophic factor (BDNF) and nerve growth factor (NGF) in serum, and recurrence rates were compared between the two groups. Results: After treatment, the total effective rate was 95.12% in the observation group, higher than that of 80.49% in the control group (P<0.05). The PSQI and NIHSS scores in the two groups were decreased when compared with those before treatment (P<0.05),and the PSQI and NIHSS scores in the observation group were lower than those in the control group (P<0.05). The levels of 5-HT,BDNF,and NGF in serum in the two groups were increased when compared with those before treatment (P<0.05),and the levels of 5- HT,BDNF,and NGF in serum in the observation group were higher than those in the control group (P< 0.05). After 2-month follow-up,the recurrence rate was 5.13% in the observation group, lower than that of 21.21% in the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion: The combination of Xingnao Kaiqiao Acupuncture Method and Estazolam has a significant curative effect on insomnia after cerebral infarction, which can improve the sleep quality, promote the repair of neurological function defects, and reduce the recurrence rate.
