Abstract:Objective:To study the medication rule of Professor LI Xueming in treating chronic kidney disease based on data mining. Methods: A total of 298 prescriptions of Professor LI Xueming in treating chronic kidney disease were collected. Based on Chinese Medicine Inheritance Assistance Platform V3.0, data mining methods such as medication frequency, four qi, five flavors and efficacy, association rules and cluster analysis were used to analyze the data. Results:In terms of medication frequency,a total of 298 prescriptions involving 296 kinds of Chinese herbs were used for 3 694 times. There were 18 kinds of high-frequency Chinese herbs. In terms of five flavors,the majority was sweet and bitter. In terms of four qi,the majority was warm,cold and balanced. In terms of channel entry,the majority was the spleen, liver,heart and kidney. The frequency of deficiency-supplementing herbs was the highest , followed by heat-clearing herbs , urination-promoting and dampness-percolating herbs,blood-invigorating and stasis- dissolving herbs. There were 16 strongly associated herbal combinations. The association rule analysis found that deficiency- supplementing herbs were mostly to supplement both the spleen and kidney. To dispel pathogen, they were combined with middle energizer- harmonizing herbs; and to dissolve stasis,they were combined with herbs that did no harm to the healthy qi. There were 4 core herbal combinations. Conclusion: In treating chronic kidney disease, Professor LI Xueming pays attention to supplementing deficiency and focuses on the spleen and kidney, and most of the deficiencysupplementing herbs are to supplement the above two zang organs. To dispel pathogen, he also pays attention to harmonizing the middle-energizer,and to dissolve stasis,ensures the herbs do not damag the healthy qi.
