Abstract： To summarize the clinical experience of Professor WAN Xiaogang in treating intractable urinary tract infection by the method of harmonization and dispersion. Professor WAN believes that intractable urinary tract infection is mostly related to disturbance of shaoyang pivot movement and dampheat internal accumulation in the triple energizers，and most of it is complicated with blood stasis blocking the collaterals and inhibited qi movement. In clinical practice，his basic treatment is to harmonize shaoyang and disperse pathogens from the triple energizers，and to invigorate blood and dissolve stasis，and move qi and promote urination. Professor WAN mostly uses modified Chaihu Haoqin Decoction with Muli Zexie Powder， Puhui Powder and Fengsui Pellets， which are suitable for pathogenesis and core syndromes， and the effect of the prescriptions are great in clinical application.
