Abstract：Objective：To observe the effect of auricular point sticking therapy combined with western medicine on analgesia， gastrointestinal function， and sleep in patients who underwent laparoscopic hysterectomy or salpingectomy. Methods： A total of 60 cases of patients who underwent laparoscopic hysterectomy or salpingectomy were selected and divided into the trial group and the control group according to the random number table method，with 30 cases in each group. The control group received comprehensive perioperative management measures from accelerated rehabilitation in western medicine， and the trial group received auricular point sticking therapy based on the treatment of the control group. The Visual Analogue Scale (VAS) scores of pain，recovery of gastrointestinal function，and sleep duration were compared between the two groups at 6， 24， and 48 hours after surgery. The occurrence of adverse reactions was observed. Results： At 6， 24， and 48 hours after surgery， VAS scores at different time points in the trial group were lower than those in the control group， the difference being significant (P＜ 0.05). The first postoperative defecation time and the interval between the first postoperative exhaust and the first postoperative defecation time in the trial group were shorter than those in the control group，the difference being significant (P＜0.05). The sleep duration on the day of surgery and the first day after surgery in the trial group was longer than that in the control group， the difference being significant (P＜0.05). Conclusion： Preoperative auricular point sticking therapy can have the effect of early intervention， and analgesia， gastrointestinal function promotion， and sleep improvement after surgery， which can accelerate recovery.
