Abstract: Objective: Based on the methods of statistical analysis, data mining and retrospective study, the medical records of Prof. SHEN Li in treating gastric cancer were studied;the pathogenesis and treatment methods of gastric cancer were explored, and the medication rules of Prof. SHEN in treating gastric cancer were summarized. Methods:The clinical data of all gastric cancer patients treated by Prof. SHEN in the outpatient department of Ningbo No.2 Hospital from September 1,2018 to August 31,2021 were collected. The obtained data were input into the prescription database established in Microsoft Excel, and all the prescription drugs and effects conforming to the standards were input. The SPSS19.0 statistical software and the cloud platform of ancient and modern medical records were used to analyze the frequency of flavors, natures and effects, and cluster analysis and complex network analysis were conducted for high- frequency drugs. Results: A total of 1,213 prescriptions involving 115 kinds of Chinese medicinals were obtained. The total frequency of herbal use was 18,793 times, and the frequency of herbal use over 50% were 10 kinds of Chinese medicinals, which were Lycii Fructus, Taxus wallichiana var. The effects of the herbs were mainly to supplement deficiency , clear heat and resolve toxin , and promote digestion. After cluster analysis , 9 clustering prescriptions were obtained. Through complex network analysis, the core prescription was composed of Taxus wallichiana var. Mairei, Glycyrrhizae Praeparata Radix et Rhizoma cum Melle, Lycii Fructus, fried Crataegi Fructus,Rhizoma seu Herba Gynostemmatis Pentaphylli, fried Oryzae Fructus Germinatus, fried Herba Ephedrae, Cynanchi Paniculati Radix et Rhizoma, Scutellariae Barbatae Herba, Hedyotis Diffusae Herba, Actinidia valvata Dunn, Fructus Citri Sarcodactylis and Actinidia arguta (Sieb. & Zucc) Planch. ex Miq.
