Abstract:Abstract: In Lin Zheng Zhi Nan Yi An (Case Records as a Guide to Clinical Practice), there are discussions on the clinical cases of abnormal sweating. The Volume III has a special section of sweat syndrome, which is also discussed in each volume and articles of other sections with extensive etiology and pathogenesis involved. After sorting the classic YE's clinical cases, the author analyses the YE's clinical cases related to abnormal sweating by sorts especially from the perspective of nutrient and defense,qi and blood, yin and yang,zang-fu organs, external contraction and postpartum based on the yin-yang and deficiency-excess syndrome differentiation of abnormal sweating. The author concludes YE's thoughts on syndrome differentiation and treatment, which are as follows. YE is good at treating abnormal sweating with formulas based on yin-yang syndrome differentiation, and he stresses that the blood and sweat share the same source. He also emphasizes the heart and kidney, and the spleen and stomach, and attaches great importance to sweat caused by warm heat and summerheat as well as postpartum sweat.
