Abstract:Objective:To observe the clinical effect of foot bath with Yiyiren Decoction combined with fractional laser for multiple plantar warts. Methods:A total of 82 cases of patients who had multiple plantar warts with the syndrome of damp- heat and stasis stagnation were divided into the control group and the observation group according to the random number table method,with 41 cases in each group. The control group was treated with the external application of Imiquimod Cream and fractional laser, and the observation group was treated with foot bath with Yiyiren Decoction combined with fractional laser. Both groups were treated for 8 weeks. Clinical effects were compared between the two groups. Before and after treatment, the pain degree of the plantar part was evaluated by Vocal Rating Scale (VRS) scores, and quality of life was evaluated by Dermatology Life Quality Index (DLQI) scores and 36- Item Short Form Survey (SF- 36) scores. The safety of the two therapies was observed. The recurrence rates of 6 and 12 months of follow- ups were counted. Results:After 8 weeks of treatment,the total clinical effective rate in the observation group was higher than that in the control group (P<0.05). The scores of VRS and DLQI in the two groups were decreased when compared with those before treatment (P<0.05),and the scores of SF-36 were increased when compared with those before treatment (P<0.05). The scores of VRS and DLQI in the observation group were lower than those in the control group (P<0.05),and the score of SF-36 was higher than that in the control group (P<0.05). There were no significant difference being found in the comparison of the incidence of adverse reactions and the recurrence rates of 6 and 12 months of follow-ups between the two groups (P>0.05). Conclusion:In the treatment of multiple plantar warts with the syndrome of damp- heat and stasis stagnation, foot bath with Yiyiren Decoction combined with fractional laser has a more definite curative effect than the external application of Imiquimod Cream and fractional laser,and can better relieve pain and improve quality of life of patients with good safety.
