Abstract：To introduce the clinical experience of Chief Physician ZHOU Jihong in treating lung cancer by syndrome differentiation with therapy of reinforcing healthy qi and anticancer. Chief ZHOU believes that the evolution of pathogenesis of lung cancer is complicated during the development of the disease. The etiology and pathogenesis of lung cancer is mainly the deficiency of healthy qi which further leads to diseases and to excess. In addition， attack of quick- acting formulas with great heat， including chemoradiotherapy， targeted therapy and heat therapy，aggravates the deficiency of healthy qi. The treatment should combine traditional Chinese medicine and western medicine，with focus on reinforcing the healthy qi and eliminating the pathogenic factors to address both symptoms and root causes. The medication should mainly use tonifying-replenishing medicinals，supplemented with qi-moving，cough-suppressing，phlegm-dissolving and panting- calming medicinals， heat- clearing and toxin- dissolving medicinals， blood- activating and detoxifying medicinals and worm medicinals.
