Clinical Study on Shenxiang Suhe Pills Combined with Conventional Western Medicine Therapy for Stable Angina Pectoris with Cold Congealing in Heart Vessel Syndrome
Abstract:Objective:To observe the clinical effect of Shenxiang Suhe Pills combined with conventional western medicine therapy for stable angina pectoris with cold congealing in heart vessel syndrome. Methods: A total of 78 cases of patients with stable angina pectoris were selected and divided into the treatment group and the control group according to the random number table method, with 39 cases in each group. The control group was treated with conventional western medicine therapy,and the treatment group was additionally treated with Shenxiang Suhe Pills based on the treatment of the control group. Both groups were treated for 8 weeks. The attack of angina pectoris, traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) syndrome scores, and clinical effects were compared between the two groups. Results: The total effective rate was 92.31% in the treatment group and 69.23% in the control group,the difference being significant (P<0.05). After treatment,the times and duration of angina pectoris attacks per week in the two groups were significantly decreased when compared with those before treatment (P<0.05);the times of angina pectoris attacks in the treatment group were fewer than those in the control group,and the duration was shorter than that in the control group (P<0.05). After treatment,the scores of cold congealing in heart vessel syndrome including chest pain,cold limbs,pale complexion,palpitation,and shortness of breath in the two groups were decreased when compared with those before treatment (P<0.05),and each TCM syndrome score in the treatment group was lower than that in the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion: Shenxiang Suhe Pills combined with conventional western medicine therapy has a significant curative effect in the treatment of stable angina pectoris with cold congealing in heart vessel syndrome, and can effectively control angina pectoris and further improve TCM syndromes.
