Abstract：This paper introduces the clinical experience of Prof. WANG Bangcai in treating patients with postoperative malignant tumor of digestive tract. Prof. WANG believes that the pathogenesis of patients after surgery for malignant tumor of digestive tract is characterized by the deficiency- excess complex. Deficiency and injury of the spleen and stomach is the root， and the internal accumulation of phlegm， stasis， turbid， toxin is the branch. Based on the methods of supplementing and unblocking， WANG emphasizes the separate treatment of the spleen and stomach to reinforce healthy qi，supplementing and unblocking of yangming to remove congestion and counterflow，and simultaneous adjustment of body and mind to regulate the emotions. He also flexibly uses the methods of removing dampness and activating the spleen， warming yang and strengthening the spleen， nourishing and moistening stomach yin， unblocking the fu- organs and directing the turbid downward， and invigorating blood and unblocking collaterals，and medicates according to the treatment methods.
