Abstract：Objective：To observe the effect of the therapy of Dengzhan Shengmai Capsules combined with isosorbide mononitrate tablets based on routine therapy on unstable angina pectoris. Methods：A total of 110 patients with unstable angina pectoris of qi deficiency and blood stasis type were selected and divided into the study group and the control group according to the random number table method， with 55 cases in each group. The vital signs in the two groups were monitored， and both groups were given routine therapy， including anti- platelet aggregation and oxygen inhalation， and Isosorbide Mononitrate tablets orally. The study group was additionally treated with Dengzhan Shengmai Capsules. Both groups were treated for four weeks. Before and after treatment，the levels of heart function indexes，including left ventricular ejection fraction(LVEF)，end- diastolic volume(EDV) and end- systolic volume(ESV)，blood lipid indexes ， including high- density lipoprotein cholesterol(HDL- C) ， low- density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL- C)， total cholesterol(TC) and triglyceride(TG)， tissue inhibitor of metalloproteinase- 1(TIMP- 1) and matrix metalloprotein 9(MMP- 9) were detected. The clinical effects and incidence of adverse reactions were compared between the two groups. Results： After four weeks of treatment， the total clinical effective rate in the study group was higher than that in the control group，the difference being significant (P＜0.05). The values of EDV and ESV in the two groups were lower than those before treatment，and the values of LEVF were higher，differences being significant(P＜0.05)；the values of EDV and ESV in the study group were lower than those in the control group，and the value of LEVF in the study group was higher， differences being significant(P＜0.05). The levels of TC，TG and LDL-C in the two groups were lower than those before treatment，and the levels of HDL-C were higher，differences being significant(P＜0.05). The levels of TC，TG and LDL-C in the study group were lower than those in the control group，and the level of HDL- C was higher than that in the control group， differences being significant(P＜0.05). The levels of TIMP- 1 in the two groups were higher， and the levels of MMP- 9 were lower than those before treatment，differences being significant(P＜0.05). The level of TIMP-1 in the study group was higher than that in the control group， and the level of MMP- 9 was lower than that in the control group， difference being significant(P＜0.05). There is no significant difference being found in the comparison of incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups(P＞0.05). Conclusion： The therapy of Dengzhan Shengmai Capsules combined with Isosorbide Mononitrate Tablets based on routine therapy for unstable angina pectoris can effectively improve the heart function and relieve the symptom of angina pectoris，with a great treatment effect and safety.
