Abstract:Objective:To observe the clinical effect of modified Gexia Zhuyu Decoction combined with sequential estrogen and progestogen therapy for hypomenorrhea after induced abortion. Methods:A total of 82 cases of patients with hypomenorrhea after induced abortion were divided into the control group and the observation group according to the random number table method, with 41 cases in each group. The control group was treated with sequential estrogen and progestogen therapy, and the observation group was additionally treated with modified Gexia Zhuyu Decoction based on the treatment of the control group. Both groups were treated for three courses, with 21 days being one course. Menstruation and vaginal ultrasound indicators before and after treatment, as well as clinical effects and the incidence of adverse reactions were compared between the two groups. Results: The total effective rate was 92.68% in the observation group,higher than that of 75.61% in the control group(P<0.05). After treatment,menstrual periods in the two groups were lengthened when compared with those before treatment(P<0.05),and the scores of Pictorial Blood Loss Assessment(PBAC) were increased when compared with those before treatment(P<0.05);the menstrual period in the observation group was longer than that in the control group (P<0.05), and PBAC score was higher than that in the control group(P<0.05). After treatment, uterine artery pulsation index(PI) and uterine artery resistance index(RI) in the two groups were decreased when compared with those before treatment(P<0.05), endometrial thickness was larger when compared with that before treatment(P<0.05);PI and RI in the observation group were lower(P<0.05),and endometrial thickness was larger than those in the control group(P<0.05). The incidence of adverse reactions was 12.20% in the observation group and 17.07% in the control group, there being no significance in the difference(P>0.05). Conclusion:Modified Gexia Zhuyu Decoction combined with sequential estrogen and progestogen therapy for hypomenorrhea after induced abortion can significantly improve menstruation and uterine blood flow of patients,and promote endometrium regeneration with good safety.
