Abstract: Objective: To observe the clinical effect of the therapy of Sini Powder combined with Midazolam Maleate Tablets for sleep disorders. Methods: A total of 80 cases of sleep disorders were selected and divided into the control group and the study group,with 40 cases in each group. The control group was given Midazolam Maleate Tablets for treatment, and the control group was treated with Sini Powder combined with Midazolam Maleate Tablets. The clinical effects in both groups as well as the sleep quality valuated by Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index(PSQI) and Short from 36 Questionnaire(SF- 36) scores before and after treatment were compared. Results: The total effective rate was 95.0% in the study group, higher than that of 77.5% in the control group, the difference being significant(P<0.05). Before treatment, there was no significant difference being fund in the comparisons of scores of PSQI scale, including subjective sleep quality,sleep latency,sleep efficiency,sleep time,additive problems of sleep disturbance, sleep medicine taking and daytime function disorders, between the two groups(P>0.05); after treatment, the above scores in both groups were decreased when compared with those before treatment(P<0.05),and the above scores in the study group were lower than those in the control group(P< 0.05). Before treatment,there was no significant difference being found in the comparisons of the scores of SF- 36, including emotional function, physical pain, mental health, physiological function, social function, physiological function, activity, general health, between the two groups(P>0.05); after treatment,the above scores in both groups were increased when compared with those before treatment (P<0.05),and the above scores in the study group were higher than those in the control group(P<0.05). Conclusion:The therapy of Sini Powder combined with Midazolam Maleate Tablets for sleep disorders can improve the clinical effect and effectively enhance the sleep quality and the quality of life of patients.
