Clinical Effect of Needling Method of Regulating Conception and Governor Vessels Combined with Rehabilitation Training on Dysphagia After Ischemic Stroke
Abstract: Objective: To observe the clinical effect of the therapy of needling method of regulating conception and governor vessels combined with rehabilitation training on dysphagia after ischemic stroke. Methods: A total of 76 patients with dysphagia after ischemic stroke were divided into the control group and the observation group according to the random number table method, with 38 cases in each group. The control group was given routine rehabilitation training, and the observation group was additionally treated with needling method of regulating conception and governor vessels based on the treatment of the control group. The clinical effects and incidence of adverse reactions in both groups were observed, and the changes in the traditional Chinese medicine(TCM) syndrome scores and the scores of Functional Oral Intake Scale(FOIS) and Standardized Swallowing Assessment(SSA) before and after treatment were compared between the two groups. Results: After treatment, the TCM syndrome scores of hemiparalysis, dizziness, stiff tongue and dysphagia, dysfunction of turning over, hemiplegia of limbs and thin coated tongue and excessive white phlegm in both groups were decreased when compared with those before treatment(P<0.05), and the above scores in the observation group were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05). The total clinical effective rate was 89.47% in the observation group, higher than that of 76.32% in the control group, the difference being significant(P<0.05). After treatment, the FOIS grading of swallow function in both groups was superior to that before treatment(P<0.05),and the abovegrading in the observation group was better than that in the control group(P<0.05). After treatment, the SSA scores in both groups were decreased when compared with those before treatment(P<0.05),and the SSA score in the observation group was lower than that in the control group(P<0.05). The incidence of adverse reactions was 5.26% in the observation group and 15.79% in the control group, the difference being significant(P<0.05). Conclusion: The therapy of needling method of regulating conception and governor combined with rehabilitation training has a significant clinical effect on dysphagia after ischemic stroke, which can improve the clinical symptoms and promote the recovery of the swallow function, with a good safety.
