Abstract： Objective： To observe the clinical effect of Yiqi Yangyin Decoction combined with Prednisone acetate for systemic lupus erythematosus(SLE). Methods：A total of 120 cases of SLE patients were selected and divided into the observation group and the control group according to the random number table method，with 60 cases in each group. The control group was treated with prednisone acetate，and the observation group was additionally treated with Yiqi Yangyin Decoction based on the treatment of the control group. The clinical effects in the two groups were evaluated. traditional Chinese medicine(TCM) syndrome scores，immune function，complement levels and kidney function before and after treatment in the two groups were compared. Results： The total effective rate was 95.00% in the observation group， higher than that of 73.33% in the control group(P＜0.05). After treatment， TCM syndrome scores in the two groups were decreased when compared with those before treatment(P＜0.05)，and the scores in the observation group were lower than those in the control group(P＜0.05). After treatment， the levels of immunoglobulin(Ig)A，IgG and IgM in the two groups were decreased，and the levels of C3 and C4 were increased when compared with those before treatment(P＜0.05)； the levels of IgA， IgG and IgM in the observation group were lower，and the levels of C3 and C4 were higher than those in the control group(P＜ 0.05). After treatment，the levels of albumin in the two groups were increased when compared with those before treatment，and the levels of 24-hour urine protein and serum creatinine(SCr) were decreased when compared with those before treatment(P＜0.05). The level of albumin in the observation group was higher， and the levels of 24- hour urine protein and SCr were lower than that in the control group(P＜0.05). Conclusion： The therapy of Yiqi Yangyin Decoction combined with prednisone acetate has a significant curative effect in treating SLE，which can regulate immune function and kidney function of patients.
