Abstract:Objective:To observe the clinical effect of the therapy of Shenyan Kangfu Tablets combined with conventional western medicine on chronic renal failure and its influence on renal function and serum inflammatory factors. Methods:A total of 100 patients with chronic renal failure were randomly divided into the control group and the observation group,with 50 cases in each group. The control group was treated with conventional western medicine, and the observation group was additionally treated with Shenyan Kangfu Tablets based on the treatment of the control group,for a total of eight weeks. The levels of renal function and serum inflammatory factors were compared between the two groups before and after treatment, and the clinical effects, adverse reactions and outcomes were evaluated. Results: The total effective rate was 92.00% in the observation group,higher than that of 78.00% in the control group(P< 0.05). After treatment,the levels of serum creatinine(SCr),urea nitrogen(BUN) and 24-hour urinary protein (24hUp) in the two groups were decreased when compared with those before treatment, and the glomerular filtration rate(GFR) was respectively increased(P<0.05);the levels of SCr,BUN and 24h Up in the observation group were lower than those in the control group,and the GFR level was higher(P<0.05). After treatment,the levels of serum interleukin- 6(IL- 6) and tumor necrosis factor- α(TNF- α) in the two groups were decreased when compared with those before treatment(P<0.05), and the levels of serum IL- 6 and TNF- α in the observation group were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05). Twelve months after treatment,the remission rate of disease in the observation group was 16.00%,higher than that of 4.00% in the control group(P<0.05). The progression rate of disease in the observation group was 8.00% , lower than that of 24.00% in the control group(P<0.05). Conclusion: The therapy of Shenyan Kangfu Tablets combined with conventional western medicine can improve the clinical effect of chronic renal failure, delay the decline of renal function and disease process, reduce the levels of serum inflammatory factors,and reduce the body's inflammatory responses.
