Abstract:Objective:To observe the clinical effect of modified Xuanfu Daizhe Decoction on functional dyspepsia. Methods: A total of 120 patients with functional dyspepsia were randomly divided into the observation group and the control group, with 60 cases in each group. The control group was treated with conventional western medicine, and the observation group was treated with modified Xuanfu Daizhe Decoction. The clinical effects in the two groups were evaluated. The levels of serum motilin (MOT), corticotropin-releasing hormone (CRH),gastrin 17 (G17) and pepsinogen (PGⅠ and PG Ⅱ) before and after treatment were compared between the two groups, and the incidence of adverse reactions was recorded. Results:The total effective rate was 93.33% in the observation group, higher than that of 83.33% in the control group, the difference being significant (P<0.037). Before treatment, there was no significant difference in levels of MOT, CRH, G17, PG Ⅰ and PG Ⅱ between the two groups(P>0.05). After treatment, the levels of MOT,G-17,PGⅠ and PGⅡ in the two groups were increased compared with those before treatment(P<0.05),and the above levels in the observation group were higher than those in the control group(P<0.05); the levels of CRH in the two groups were decreased compared with those before treatment (P<0.05), and the level of CRH in the observation group was lower than that in the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion:Xuanfu Daizhe Decoction can effectively relieve the clinical symptoms of patients with functional dyspepsia, which reduces the levels of gastrointestinal hormones.
